Sooo ….. I need research on a man’s Austrian nobility costume from 1490.

I’m pretty sure I’m the bane of the librarians life since I spent about three hours combing through every book I could find.

What do I have to show for my time? Dudes in the 14th century liked to chill in trees. Pretty sure these guys might be the decidedly well-dressed missing link.

Also, women wore some pretty engrossing headwear. I wonder how many people lost their eye(s) in tragic headdress related accidents? Brings a whole new meaning to the phrase “suffer for fashion”.
