I have to admit that last week when I looked at the calendar I had a moment of doom and despair. On July 3rd friends from all over the world would be gathering in Colonial Williamsburg for a costume dinner and I had no costume! I pretty much panicked because I didn’t have time to make a new jacket for work and an evening gown.

Lucky for me I have an amazing friend Abby from Stay-ing Alive not only loaned me her red 1790s gown for the dinner but also fixed my hair.

Unfortunately I don’t have photos yet but I promise they will be coming shortly.
