I don’t usually hold discussions like this in an open forum but since you have expressed how offended you are to everyone on facebook, I really wanted people to understand who the actual offended party is in this matter. I understand that this is aimed at me and I would like to clarify the situation. I wasn’t rude to you and if you had a way I could have privately messaged you I would have used that. I didn’t ask you to delete your page or to react in the way you did. I would have been very sad to have seen you close your page because I do enjoy it immensely. All I did was to politely ask you to stop posting from my blog.
I really enjoy your page, I think it’s beautiful. What I didn’t enjoy was how you took 11 of my posts straight off my blog and put them on your facebook group page. Please understand that you reposted my entire Valentines Day theme that I had been saving for a few days to share with my own followers. Plus you borrowed three photos that didn’t even relate to that theme and you posted them in the order that they are posted on my blog. Not only did you copy the photos directly from my blog but the commentary as well.
It is true that I don’t own any of the photos, but I do take hours to reseach the ideas and themes and put together original items that I think my followers will enjoy. I don’t spend all of this time for someone like you to come along in five minutes and take everything from my blog and re-post it as their own without giving credit to the source. If you want to play poor me with your followers you should tell them both sides of the story first, so that they can make an informed decision. I don’t consider asking someone politely not to plagiarize your work rude, stupid or silly. You are entitled to your own opinion though. Just be sure that it is your own, original opinion first.
