I love these dresses because they are just so bad.
It’s like the took the Regency waist line and added hoops from the 18th century. Hoop skirts were still required in court so for years women looked like awkward feather (and in the case of the third photo grecian) cream puffs. Fashion Police anyone?
Most of these are from La Belle Assemblee and vary from 1794-1815.
