Gatchina Palace - The State Bedroom - gilded canopied bed made by A. Jacob, a famous French cabinet-maker of the late 18th century.
Sweet dreams followers.
We all carry things inside that no on else can see.
They hold us down like anchors, they drown us out at sea.
I feel like a failure I queued six posts and I feel exhausted. I’m going to crawl into the birds nest and see if I feel better after a nap.
Tomorrow’s post is totally lame. I’m trying to decide whether or not I want to just delete it and wait until I feel like a normal human again.
Sorry loves ;{
A flock of sheep that leisurely pass by
One after one; the sound of rain, and bees
Murmuring; the fall of rivers, winds and seas,
Smooth fields, white sheets of water, and pure sky -
I’ve thought of all by turns, and still I lie
Sleepless…
~William Wordsworth, “To Sleep”
Lit à La Duchesse En Impériale
ca. 1782-83
I sense a theme coming up!!!
Josephine’s Chamber at Chateau de MalmaisonJosephine’s chamber at the Chateau de Malmaison, with its pink (looks red to me) decorative scheme, is considered to be one of the most beautiful rooms in the Empire style.
Good night, sweet followers, And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.
Sorry Horatio and Will I had to alter the line a little bit!
Oh my god the collaboration project is OVER.
I sat there in the emergency room last night and hand stitched all those stupid ruffles onto that bodice!
IT’S DONE!!!!!!!!
Not too shabby for 3 first year costume interp and 3 first year costume design students!
Now please excuse me while I go sleep for the next 48 hours.
