Go to Sky Living, we need the ratings!
I’m sorry I haven’t been posting as much as usual! As you can see I have been very busy trying to prepare my Buckingham Palace ‘In Fine Style’ costumes for a photo shoot tomorrow afternoon. This is the second of three journeys to get all the costumes to Uni! Only one more to go! Hurrah!
I have no idea who these people are but lady on the right I need your cape coat in my life!
I will be sailing into central London tomorrow along with the Titanic II Launch! Ask me if I am excited yet?
I wasn’t raised to eat pancakes on Fat Tuesday, I was raised to eat King Cake!!! Tomorrow is going to be depressing for the third year in a row.

Snowballs! 1400 - 1407 Atlante dell’arte italiana
This is what the Irish lads working on the building across my flat have been doing all day! One of them is about six stories up and thinks he is Hawkeye with snowballs instead of arrows and is being particularly naughty!
I owe a debt of gratitude to Owen Benson from Owen Benson Visuals for this photo taken of me during the Jane Austen Festival Masquerade Ball in Bath.
Keep an eye on the Mended Soul for an update on this gown but until then here is the longer front and back view!
I’m going into my final year of University and I can’t be more thrilled! See you all on the other side, wish me a safe flight!
The 48 hour marker is fast approaching.
I’m going through my suitcase and I can’t help but wonder what the TSA agent who goes through it is going to think. I have about two different centuries worth of undergarments accompanied by their matching outer garments (future reference 18th century petticoats take up TOO much space), too many Regency costumes, fabric, two centuries worth of footwear, one bergère, two bonnets, fabric, a CRAZY amount of potentially suspicious looking sewing paraphernalia, fabric, food, and maybe normal clothing crammed in if I find room. oh. and fabric.
Will it be more of a Simon look:

Or more King of the North?

Of course whatever the look is I’ll be all like:

Now if I can figure out how to get about 40 costume and fashion books back to London I’ll be doing good!
So proud and honoured to have an article published in the Autumn 2012 Costume Society of the UK Newsletter.
